The new Swarovski headquarters, located on the eastern shore of Lake Zurich, features a dis-tinctive horseshoe-shaped design with two mirrored, glazed wings that reflect the company’s core product, cut crystal. The building provides workspace for around 500 employees, offering expansive views of the lake and the Alps through a fully transparent façade. The design emphasizes lightness and integration with the natural surroundings, blending harmoniously with nearby vineyards and orchards.

The building meets Swiss Minergie® environmental standards, using lake water for heating and cooling, and consumes less than 40 kilowatt-hours per square meter annually. Its two-layered façade includes ventilation flaps, solar shading, and a protective glass outer layer. The open-plan office areas promote flexibility, while the interior acoustics and cooling systems are optimized for comfort. Additional green spaces, including timber terraces and a green roof, enhance the building’s connection to nature.
