Rising 89 metres between the Rhine and Düsseldorf’s Golzheim district, this office tower asserts a confident yet refined presence on the city’s northern edge. Its double-oval floor plan reflects the dual orientation toward river and city, producing a fluid architectural form that mediates between landscape and urban fabric. Two distinct entrances anchor the tower in its hybrid context, ensuring permeability and clear address on both sides. A light-weight façade of high-performance glass, detailed with minimal parapets, opens expansive views over the Rhine and the skyline, creating an impression of clarity and transparency that extends from exterior to interior.
The design of the workplace is guided by openness and adaptability. Each floorplate allows for cellular, team-based or open-plan arrangements, with the possibility of subdivision into two distinct leasing units. In this way, the tower anticipates diverse patterns of occupation and evolving work cultures. At ground level, the surrounding landscape merges riverside meadows with urban parkland, reinforcing continuity along the river’s edge while offering spaces for pause and movement. More than an office building, the tower becomes connec-tive tissue in Düsseldorf’s topography: an architecture that balances bold form with spatial generosity, bridging water, city and green.
